WEEKLY MEAL PREP

Each Sunday I prepare what I call the “Sigmon Special”. I’ll have this every night over rice. I’ll even put a meal from Clean Eatz over top! Talk about a high protein meal- around 50 grams! Everyone thinks as we age we need less protein, not true, we need more but that’s another subject from another time! I will say this which not many people talk about. Want to keep your immune system strong? Eat your protein!


Ingredients:
*chicken and top sirloin. Sirloin is very lean and very nutritionally dense containing Iron, B-12, Zinc, creatine, and a host of other micro-nutrients.
*either the can of chicken & rice or the chicken & noodle. I get both at EarthFair
*Salt- fortified with Iodine- Iodine is great for the Thyroid
*A cup of organic chicken broth. Packed full of Collagen.
*A hand full of Carrots. Carrots are full of fiber and Vitamin A. Also great for your Prostrate guys!!
I’ll let it simmer in the Crockpot for 6 hours, let cool then in the fridge.
